As a result, we are currently unable to deliver the data in the usual format. We are still working on restoring the original data stream, but this process is unfortunately taking longer than initially expected. As an alternative, we also offer this data in BUFR format (https://dataplatform.knmi.nl/dataset/knmi-synop-bufr-1). This contains the same data, but is offered in a different format. This can be decoded using the pdbufr library (https://pdbufr.readthedocs.io/en/latest/). </strong> Synoptical in-situ observations per one hour from the available operational stations in the Netherlands, the Dutch part of the North Sea continental shelf and from adjacent stations in Germany and Belgium. Decrypted WMO reports, presented in ASCII text format.
