Het doel is een nauwkeurigheid van 85% per biogeografische regio. Een kwantitatieve benadering gebaseerd op een random geselecteerd aantal punten die vergeleken worden met externe datasets (e.g. GoogleEarth, nationale luchtfoto’s of nationale grasland datasets). Algehele nauwkeurigheid: 96.66%. Geometrische nauwkeurigheid (positioning accuracy): minder dan één pixel verschil t.o.v. de door ESA geleverde ortho-gerectificeerde satellietbeelden.
