Statement

Precipitation surplus is calculated by subtracting the evaporation map from the precipitation map. The interpolation method for evaporation is Thin Plate Spline (TPS). The number of evaporation observations is 20. The interpolation method for precipitation is ordinary kriging. The nugget is zero and the variogrammodel is exponential, The number of precipitation observations is 304.
