Radar - TARA radar multi-beam Doppler en polarimetrische metinge in Cabauw

This dataset contains S-band (central frequency of 3.298 GHz) radar measurements from the TU Delft transportable atmospheric radar TARA. It includes profiles of the equivalent reflectivity factor. Further, the horizontal wind (speed and direction) and the vertical Doppler velocity profiles are supplied. TARA is placed at the remote sensing site at Cabauw. It is a very sensitive profiling radar providing time-height indicators.

Deze dataset bevat S-band (3,298 GHz) radar metingen met de TARA, TU-Delft Transportable Atmospheric RAdar. De dataset bevat profielen van de equivalente reflectiviteits factor. En verder de horizontale windsnelheid (grootte en richting) en de vertikale Doppler snelheidsprofielen. TARA is geplaatst op het Remote Sensing terrein in Cabauw. Het is een zeer gevoelige radar die tijd-hoogte indicatoren levert.

Processed weather radar measurements at linear horizontal / vertical polarisation basis of TARA. The observables included are reflectivity, Doppler velocity and Doppler spectrum width for three different directions; differential reflectivity, linear depolarisation ratio, horizontal wind speed and direction, and vertical Doppler velocity.

Bewerkte TARA weerradar metingen zowel lineair horizontaal als vertikaal gepolariseerd. De metingen bevatten reflectiviteit, Doppler snelheid en Doppler spectrale breedte voor drie richtingen; differentiele refelctiviteit, lineaire depolarisatie ratio, horizontale windsnelheid en - richting, en vertikale Doppler snelheid.
