The trainlines show the train connections between the countries and metropolitan areas in Europe.
These can be used for a better understanding of (inter)national connectiveness by train and stimulate cooperation between the European countries.

These lines are aggregated on field ‘name’. Lines without names are checked on fields highspeed = ýes’ of maxspeed (as a number) > = 200 and given the name of the operator and these 2 fields.
Anglosaxon countries had maxspeeds in mph, these are converted tot km/h.
