  • This dataset contains the number of earthquakes, incident-parameters and trend-parameters from the earthquakes in the KNMI catalogue that took place on the Groningen gas field. The number of earthquakes are categorized by year and magnitude. The incident-parameters are the maximum PGA and PGV values of the last earthquake with magnitude >= 2.0 processed by KNMI's RRSM system. The trend-parameters (number of earthquakes and maximum earthquake density) are computed following the definition by SodM. Disclaimer: New earthquakes are assigned to the Groningen gas field by means of an automatic procedure, based on the location. It is possible that, after manual analysis, the quake is nevertheless attributed to another source of induced seismicity, as a result of which the list of earthquakes belonging to the Groningen gas field may change.

  • Dataset containing hourly data files provided by Ruisdael Observatory's Metek Micro Rain Radar (SN 0510056436) placed at The Green Village (Van Den Broekweg 4, 2628 CR Delft). Time interval of measurements is 10 seconds and the range resolution is preferred to be set to 35 meters; however, data between 2020-11-09 and 2021-11-06 presents a 25m resolution. Compared with version 1, data will Drop Size Distribution spectra variable, as the instrument's firmware has been update to a newer version (v2.0.23). Notes: Being The Green Village a test site, there could be some effect on the quality and availability of the data.

The observations of the series available here appeared to have been carried out sufficiently regularly and long enough in succession.

It includes calibrated, unvalidated daily aggregated files at five sites: Cabauw, De Kooy, Groningen Airport Eelde, Maastricht Aachen Airport and Vlissingen. Level 2 data processing is performed by the Eumetnet E-PROFILE ALC data hub: https://www.eumetnet.eu/activities/observations-programme/current-activities/e-profile/. Vertical resolution 30 m, time resolution 5 minutes.

Retrieved cloud base heights up to 3 layers, sky condition information and aerosol layer height, based on manufacturer algorithms are included. Vertical resolution 10 m, time resolution 12 s.
