  • Global annual temperature from 1970 to 2100 per land grid cell. The data is licensed under CC-BY. The IMAGE-team would appreciate to be involved in projects using the data. SSP scenarios are documented in: Energy, land-use and greenhouse gas emissions trajectories under a green growth paradigm, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.gloenvcha.2016.05.008

  • Instrumental observations of the weather have been regularly performed in the Netherlands since the end of the 17th century. An inventory was made of this period before 1854 at KNMI. The observations of the series available here appeared to have been carried out sufficiently regularly and long enough in succession.

  • Gridded files of daily minimum temperature in the Netherlands. Based on 33 -35 automatic weather stations of the KNMI.

  • Gridded files of daily mean temperature in the Netherlands. Based on 33 -35 automatic weather stations of the KNMI.

  • A balloon is released from the ground and rises to 10-30km to measure temperature, pressure, humidity and wind data. Vaisala MW41 sounding software is a radiosounding data processing, analysis, archival and relaying software for DigiCORA Sounding System MW41. The software consists of the user interface running on a web browser and the sounding processing software running as services on a PC computer. DigiCORA Sounding System MW41 consists of a PC computer, which is connected to a sounding processing subsystem via a network adapter. Sounding Processing Subsystem SPS311 contains the processor units for PTU (Pressure, Temperature and Humidity) and wind finding, and appropriate connections to the required antennas.

  • Gridded files of daily maximum temperature in the Netherlands. Based on 33 -35 automatic weather stations of the KNMI.

  • Unvalidated meteorological profile observations of wind speed, wind direction, temperature, dew point and visibility from the 200m Cabauw tower on a 10-minute basis. The data is updated in realtime, so the file of the current day is updated every 10 minutes. For more information about how to interpret the data, please read: https://cdn.knmi.nl/knmi/pdf/bibliotheek/knmipubTR/TR384.pdf.

  • Unvalidated soil temperature profile and soil heat fluxes at Cabauw on a 10-minute basis. The data is updated realtime, so the last file might not contain all data yet. For more information about how to interpret the data, please read: https://cdn.knmi.nl/knmi/pdf/bibliotheek/knmipubTR/TR384.pdf. Please note: Due to dataset maintenance, data uploading has been halted temporarily since 01-10-2021 for an unspecified time.

  • The KNMI'23 climate scenarios are based on 240 years (8 ensembles of 30 years each) of RACMO (Regional Atmospheric Climate Model) v2.3 data for every horizon/scenario. For the derivation of river discharges, daily RACMO fields of temperature, precipitation and (Makkink) potential evapotranspiration are necessary. This dataset supplies the data that has been used by Deltares to calculate the river discharges. Also additional variables are supplied. The timeseries of the discharges can be found at: https://rwsprojectarchief.openearth.nl/downloads/afvoerscenarios/KNMI23_afvoerscenarios_RijnMaas/.
